Devon was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, a fact of which she is
immodestly proud, mostly because these genetics enable her to consume vast amounts of alcohol and not fall down. She currently hides out on a remote Scottish island with a housemate and a dog, both of whom have the patience of saints to put up with her idiosyncracies. To while away the time she has studied such diverse '-ologies' as Egyptology, Criminology, and Theology. When she is not writing - which admittedly is not often - she enjoys indulging in a menage a trois with her couch and widescreen TV. She is also a voracious reader, her favorite authors including: Stephen King, James Lee Burke, Gail Carriger, and Charlaine Harris. She swears there is no truth to rumors that she was once a trained CIA operative. Nor is it true that she is a vampire - she just keeps odd hours. Besides writing novels, Devon has written numerous short stories and articles. She also enjoys sharing her opinions via her blogs where the language and subjects may occasionally be quite adult.
